My other life….donation transplantation and research

Many of you know that I used to be involved with organ donation, transplant, and research before I came on HSCC staff full time. I still work with IIAM part time as a placement coordinator….IIAM facilitates donation to research when transplantation is not possible. I am currently in Miami at NATCO . We are helping facilitate a hands on workshop with kidneys and pulsatile perfusion. Organ Donation and Transplantation is an amazing field. Would love to share more about this with you .and oh by the way I get to be in Miami!!!!

When you say “hands on,” you don’t mean like touching real organs, do you???
